Artistic Plastercraft was formed in 1985, with our senior member having worked as an ornamental plasterer since 1967. The tradition of Ornamental Plasterwork is centuries old & most of our patterns reflect past styles and forms. Whenever possible we have reproduced original patterns to ensure sympathetic blending with existing properties. These patterns extend from the Tudor period, through the Georgian & Victorian periods up to the Art Deco of the 1930's.

We produce and supply a large range of ornate and plain cornices, ceiling centres, corbals, niches, wall plaques, panel moulds, dados and arched openings in a range of designs. We manufacture our own moulds at our studios and the finished cast is plaster of paris reinforced with hessian and timber strips. This ensures ease of fitting which can be by screws, nails or a suitable adhesive.

To back up our stock range of mouldings we also offer a full fitting service. We offer free advice on all aspects of Ornamental Plasterwork. We would be glad to visit your property or site and give our expert advice on weakened mouldings, damaged ceilings, how to renovate old mouldings covered in paint, assisting in the selection of appropriate cornices & mouldings, or any other plaster related problems you may have. One of our key specialisms is that we can match existing mouldings exactly.
